Son of a nutcracker, following its record-breaking run on Broadway last year, Elf The Musical now heads back to London at the Aldwych Theatre to spread its special brand of festive cheer for a limited 10-week season from 28 October 2025 to 4 January 2026.
Based on the much-loved festive Hollywood movie, Elf is the delightfully funny and charming story of Buddy, who, as a young child, mistakenly crawled into Santa’s sack as a baby and was transported to the North Pole to be raised as an elf!
After growing way too tall and not being great at his job, Buddy became the North Pole’s biggest misfit… and deep down knows he’ll never truly belong there. But when Santa finally tells him the truth about his roots, Buddy immediately heads to New York to locate his birth father (who, as it turns out, is pretty high on Santa's naughty list).
Just as Buddy is finally introduced to the gift of family and falls in love, mayhem in Manhattan ensues when Santa’s sleigh crashes in Central Park and it’s up to Buddy to find a way to save Christmas forever!
